Andrew Jackson Cumpston, aged 59 years, died at the Douglas hospital Sunday from tick fever. He had been a resident of Glenrock since 1917, coming that year to the Big Muddy field as a rig builder. He had been employed in the oil industry there since that time. He was a native of Pennsylvania. He is survived by a son, Harry B. Cumpston, of Odessa, Tex. Funeral services were held at Glenrock Tuesday, with burial there.
