Beulah Faye Coy laid to rest
Douglas Budget - November 24, 1983Services for Beulah Faye Coy, aged 76, of Torrington, who died Tuesday, Nov. 15, 1983 at the Douglas hospital, were held on Friday, Nov. 18, 1983 at 2:00 p.m. at the Colyer Funeral Home. Interment was in Valley View Cemetery.
Mrs. Coy was born April 16, 1907 at Sheridan, Missouri, the daughter of Ira and Malinda (Copple) Music. She grew up and went to school there. She married Virgil Claude Coy on October 22, 1927 at Bedford, Iowa. They farmed near Sheridan, Missouri. The couple moved to Torrington in 1951 and to Lingle in 1952. After Mr. Coy's death in 1975 she moved back to Torrington.
She was a member of the First Freewill Baptist Church and was affiliated with the Senior Friendship Center.
She is survived by two sons, Virgil G. Coy of Maryville, Missouri and Donald D. Coy of Douglas, Wyoming; three daughters, Mrs. Gladys Robinson of Sheridan, Missouri, Mrs. Mary Poff of Gentry, Missouri and Mrs. Donna Faye Hopkins of Lingle, Wyoming; twenty-seven grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by one brother and three sisters.
The Colyer Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
