Douglas Budget - April 27, 1988Robert Donn Clark died April 19 after a lengthy illness.
He was born Nov. 23, 1955 in Kalamazoo, Mich., the oldest son of Rev. Daniel and Margaret Sessions Clark. He graduated from Douglas High School in 1974 and attended Casper College and Colorado State University in Fort Collins.
He was actively involved in the establishment of the Douglas Community Youth Center while in High School. An avid sports enthusiast, he was a member of the Tennis Team while a student at Casper College.
He is survived by his wife, Darlene Hood, and two children, Rebecca, age 9, and Jesse Robert, age 7. In addition to his wife and children, he is survived by his parents, who live in Chester, Mont.; his brother, Jeff, of Laramie; a brother, David, of Stering, Va., and a sister, Virginia of Washington; and a grandfather, G.F. Stuart Sessions, of Albion, Mich.
He had been ill for the past three years, and in a nursing home for this past 13 months.
A memorial service was held at Brentwood United Methodist Church in Denver.
