Douglas Budget - June 24, 1998Jaunita "Punky" M. Cobb, 58, of Casper died at Central Wyoming Hospice Home on June 19.
Family and friends will gather at a later date at the Eagles Lodge in Casper.
Mrs. Cobb was born on Sept. 13, 1939, in Douglas to Clarence and O'Della (Castle)Wyatt. She was raised in Douglas and moved to Casper in the late 1960s. She married Donald Cobb on March 27, 1974, in Casper.
She was an independent sales consultant for Mary Kay Cosmetics for more than 20 years. She started the first foster grandparent program in Wyoming, earning her the Volunteer of the Year award in 1982. She was very active in Auxiliary-Casper Memorial Post #9439 and was president-elect of Eagles Auxiliary Lodge #306.
She is survived by her husband Donald Cobb, DVM, of Casper; mother O'Della Smith of Casper; sons Michael V. Cobb and Thomas Wyatt Cobb, both of Casper; stepdaughter Anna Vogelson of Casper; stepsons Scott Cobb of Douglas and Jim Cobb of Casper; brothers Dennis Wyatt of Casper, Paul Smith of Bakersfield, Calif., and David Smith of Orem, Utah; sisters Linda Jones of Gillette, Shirley Tibor of Edmond, Okla., and Becky Hoppel of Salt Lake City; five grandchildren; and Mark Bretz and John Weinke, whom they raised for many years.
She was preceded in death by her father.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to Central Wyoming Hospice would be appreciated by the family.
