Douglas Budget - January 22, 1987Funeral services for Gail Frances Crane, 43, were held Saturday, Jan. 17 at the Converse Funeral Chapel with Father Philip Colibraro of the St. James Catholic Church officiating. Rosary was recited Friday at the Converse Funeral Chapel. Interment was in the Douglas Park Cemetery.
Mrs. Crane died Wednesday, Jan. 14 at Michael Manor following a long illness.
She was born Oct. 7, 1943 at Phoenix, Ariz., to George and Olive (Johnston) Bleuel. She was reared and educated in Phoenix, graduating from high school in 1961 in Phoenix. She attended a beauty school in Phoenix and later she was a beauty operator there.
She married John Gordon in 1963 and they had one daughter Kristi, born in 1965. She was later married to Terrence A. Crane in 1968 in Phoenix. They had one daughter, Karla born in 1972. They moved to Douglas in 1979 and she remained a resident here until her death.
She is survived by her husband, Terry of Douglas; two daughters, Kristi Gordon of San Diego and Karla Crane of Douglas; her mother, Olive Bleuel of Payson, Ariz.; one brother, Gary Bleuel of Payson; and one sister, Marsha Hopson of Phoenix.
She was preceded in death by her father.
Serving as pallbearers were Cisco Valdez, Ken Williams, Barry Boyson, Marty Cathcart, Doug Linaman and Ben Roe.
A memorial to the Converse County Cancer Fund or to Michael Manor in care of Terry Crane, 427 South Fifth Street, Douglas, Wyoming 82633 would be appreciated by the family.
