Douglas Budget - June 23, 2004Memorial services for Jonnie Sue Conner, 47, of Roundup, Mont., were held June 14 at First Baptist Church of Lusk with Pastor Tom Strock officiating.
Inurnment was at Glenrock Cemetery.
Ms. Conner died June 8, 2004, at her home.
She was born May 12, 1957 in Douglas to John W. and Wilma M.(Burch)Conner.
She attended Glenrock schools and graduated from Rock Springs High School in 1975. She attended Western Wyoming College in Rock Springs, with a music major and psychology minor.
On May 14, 1977, she married Donald Allen Piland in Rock Springs, moving to Wheatland, then to Colstrip, Mont., in 1982.
In 1990, she married Charles Palmer.
Ms. Conner was a member of the National Registry of EMTs and the Montana Emergency Member Services Association. She was a medical transcriptionist.
She was dedicated to her family and friends. She loved life and was devoted to giving her all to helping others in any way she could. She was very accomplished in music, playing and singing professionally. She loved the outdoors, camping and hiking. She was an avid horse person and rode from the time she was 2 years old.
Survivors include her parents; son Morgan Donald Piland of Seattle, Wash.; sister Cynthia Lynn Conner of Cassopolis, Mich.; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her daughter Tiffany Crysten Piland and grandparents Harney (Tex) and Maud S. Conner and William C. and Kathryn (Gondorf) Burch.
