Douglas Budget - April 4, 1957Funeral services were held here Saturday afternoon at 2:00 at Stark's chapel for Kenneth C. Chaney, 23, who died March 27 at Thermopolis. The Rev. Clyde Thompason officiated and burial was in Douglas Park cemetery.
Mr. Chaney was accidentally electrocuted March 27 while working on an oil rig near Thermopolis.
Kenneth Charles Chaney was born at Fulton, Kan., March 2, 1934, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Chaney.
Survivors include his wife, Nadine, of 142 N. Fenway, Casper; two sons, Kenneth Jr. and David L. of the family home; his parents, who live in Fulton, Kan.; one sister, Bernta Chaney of Fulton; five brothers, Alvin J., Robert L., Raymond E., Leonard G. and Frank L., and his two grandmothers, Mrs. Sarah Gilmore and Mrs. Zadia Marsh of Fulton.
One young son, Robert Daniel preceded him in death in 1954.
