CORDOVA LOSES LIFE IN STORM

Douglas Enterprise - May 2, 1933

Last Tuesday's Enterprise told of the missing sheepherder, Pete Cordova, and stated that small hopes were entertained for finding him alive.

Wednesday morning his body was located a half a mile from his wagon, after the snow melted sufficiently for the search to be fruitful.

He was a man of about 65 years of age, and was employed by the Morton company.

He is survived by a wife and seven children, who live in Walsenburg, Colo.

The Body of Cordova was prepared by the Hofmann Mortuary for shipment to Walsenburg, which occurred Thursday night.
