Don Cundall, a resident of Glenrock and formerly of Glendo, died at his home on April 22, 2008.
He was born November 28, 1915, in Sutton, Neb., the son of William and Mary Priscilla "Molly" (Dennis) Cundall. He was a young boy when the family moved to Wyoming in April 1927. He was reared and educated in the Glendo area, graduating from Glendo High School in 1934. Don married Vivian Louise Stephenson on June 16, 1939, in Hot Springs, S.D.
Most of his life was spent working ranches, and for a short time he and Vivian owned what is now the Long Tree Bible Ranch at Glendo. Later, he worked for the Bureau of Reclamation for a short time. They moved to Glenrock, where they owned and operated a bulk plant. They remained residents of Glenrock following the sale of the plant.
Don's retirement years were spent working in his shop, gardening and yard work. He was a member of the Douglas Moose Lodge #602.
He is survived by his wife, Vivian, of Glenrock; children, Truman Cundall of Wheatland, Trina Schellinger of Douglas and Kay Ulmer of Springdale, Ark.; sister, Dorothy Sullivan of Rock Springs, brother, Clyde Cundall of Wheatland; 11 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers; and one sister.
Pallbearers were Bob Shaw, Gary Demarce, Jim Schellinger, Dave Schellinger, Chris Schellinger, J.D. Cundall, and Mike Cundall.
A memorial to the American Heart Association, 1280 South Parker Road, Denver, CO 80231, would be appreciated by the family.
