Douglas Budget - January 11, 2011Brandan Lee Cummings, 26, formerly of Douglas, passed away Jan. 1, 2011, in Laramie, where he was a student at the University of Wyoming.
Brandan moved to Douglas when he was 5 years old and he attended his elementary, middle and high school there, where he graduated in 2003.
Brandan loved to travel to new places and studied a lot of different cultures. His main interests was in Japanese culture. His favorite outdoor sport was snow boarding with his best friends John, Zack and Ben, traveling to Whistler Mountain, British Columbia, Jackson Hole and other ski resorts in Colorado. He also loved music. He was an avid gamer who mastered all of the play station games and was incredible on Guitar Hero.
Brandan's unique way of living will always be remembered. Brandan's sense of humor will also be remembered. We will always miss you bobo/kysuke.
He is survived by his mother, Sheri Casey; stepfather, Brian Casey; brother Shain Manter; stepsister Shelby Casey; grandmother Rene Dickey; aunts Lori Martin, Kerri Dovala and Lisa Shaver; uncles Lance Shaver and Jeff Falkenburg and numerous cousins.
Brandan was preceded in death by his brother Marc Anthony Casas and maternal grandparents.
Services were held at the Gorman Chapel Jan. 6 with John Humphrey giving the eulogy.
