Douglas Budget - June 30, 2010Private family interment for Lou Christman, a 64-year-old Buffalo resident who passed away June 27, 2010, at the Johnson County Health Care Center, will be held by his family at a later date.
Albert Louis Christman was born Sept. 10, 1945, in Casper to Albert and Mabel Christman. He attended grade school at Poison Spider Elementary and graduated from Natrona County High School in 1963. After high school, he attended Casper College for two years.
Lou and his wife Sandy celebrated 46 years of marriage in May of this year. He worked as a heavy equipment operator for many companies in the Casper, Douglas and Gas Hills area.
In 1969 they moved to Alaska where he worked as an operator under Engineers Local #302. They retired in 2004 and returned to Wyoming, settling in Buffalo in 2006.
Lou loved the country life, geology, rock hunting and hiking in the mountains. He was a life-long member of Jehovah's Witnesses and thoroughly enjoyed reading and talking to everyone about the Bible.
He is survived by his wife Sandy of Buffalo and one son Bruce Christman of San Diego, Calif.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Him Houts.
Donations in Mr. Christman's name may be made to the Susie Bowling Lawrence Hospice in care of the Adams Funeral Home at 351 N. Adams in Buffalo.
