Graveside services and interment for Marianna Daniels, 90, will be Wednesday, Nov. 30, at 2 p.m. at the Beth El Cemetery in Cheyenne.

The Rev. Jon Laughlin of Grace United Methodist Church will officiate.

Mrs. Daniels, a resident of Glenrock and formerly of Cheyenne, died Saturday, Nov. 26, at Michael Manor in Douglas.

She was born Feb. 10, 1904, near Ravenwood, Mo., to William Raleigh and Maude Valore (Eaton) Goodwine. She, along with her family, moved to the Grover/Hereford, Colo., area as a young girl. She attended public schools and graduated from Grover High School.

She later attended the University of Wyoming and Colorado State College, where she received her teaching degree. Her first classes were held at Indian Hill (north of Cheyenne) in 1926-27. Later, she taught and substitute taught in the Cheyenne School District.

She was married to Herman W. Daniels on March 5, 1927, in Cheyenne. Mr. Daniels worked for the Union Pacific Railroad.

She was affiliated with the Methodist Church.

Mrs. Daniels is survived by children Gene Daniels of Glenrock and Patricia Huisken of Tucson, Ariz.; brothers William Goodwine Jr. of Greeley, Colo., and Arlen Dale Goodwine of Washington; sister Ruby Moore of Greeley; grandchildren Richard Daniels of Black Hawk, S.D., Suzanne Oakley of Riverton, and Michael Ivan of Reno, Nev.; and great-grandchildren Daniel Oakley of Riverton and Travis Daniels of Black Hawk.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband on March 3, 1982, and sisters Patsy Sweigard, Louise "Pete" Ford, May Watt and Fern Creek.

A memorial to the choice of the donor would be appreciated by the family.

The Converse Funeral Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.

Family and friends may call at the Schrader Funeral Chapel in Cheyenne on Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
