Double funeral services for Michael Erwin and Johnathan Earl Davies were held Saturday, September 12, at Stark-Lapham Chapel, with the Rev. Donald Goodman, Baptist minister from Casper, officiating. Burial was in Douglas Park Cemetery.

The young lads died from smoke inhalation in a pickup camper fire at their home in Laramie. They were the sons of Mrs. Fred Clausen and the late Charles LeRoy Davies of Douglas.

Michael was born in Douglas July 19, 1966, and Johnathan on Christmas Day, 1967.

The family had lived in Casper during the summer, and moved a mobile home to Laramie in late August prior to Clausen's enrollment at the University of Wyoming. He is a senior in petroleum engineering.

Besides the parents, the boys are survived by two brothers, Donald, 9, and Charles, 7; paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Davies, Douglas; great-grandmother, Mrs. Ellen Davies, Greybull, Wyo.; maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Don Exley; great-grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Earl Castle, all of Douglas; and step-grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. James Clausen, also of Douglas.

Pallbearers were Doug Satoff, Monty Paddleford, both of Laramie; Paul Smith, Casper, and Jimmy Davies, Glenrock.
