Lois Ditzler, 87, died Nov. 16 at Natrona County Memorial Hospital, Casper, Wyoming after a short illness.
She was born at Douglas, Jan. 23, 1897, the only daughter of early Wyoming settlers, Alvarious and Lillian Heaton.
She graduated from the Douglas High School in 1915, and married George Powell on Jan. 12, 1917. They owned and operated a men's clothing store and a dry cleaning plant in Glenrock until George's death. To this union a son, Robert was born.
On April, 1947, she married Raymong Ditzler and has lived in Douglas since that time.
Lois was a member of the Glenrock Rebekah Lodge and Women's Club. She was also a member of the Glenrock Community Baptist Church and served in the Glenrock Community Baptist Church as pianist and organist for many years.
