Au-France, Mildred Margurite (Partee) (October 2, 1915 - February 19, 1996)
Douglas Budget - February 21, 1996Graveside services and interment for Mildred Margurite Au-France, 80, will be 2 p.m. Friday, Feb. 23, at Douglas Park Cemetery.
Mrs. Au-France died Feb. 19 at Vencor Hospital in Denver following a long illness.
She was born Oct. 2, 1915, in Sherwood, Ohio, to Charles and Lulu (Sanders) Partee. She was reared and educated in Sherwood. On Dec. 19, 1935, she was married to Fred M. Au-France in Paulding, Ohio.
That year they came to Wyoming and began ranching northwest of Douglas. She resided on the ranch until the time of her death. She enjoyed cooking.
Mrs. Au-France is survived by daughter Mary Ann Isenberger of Douglas; sons Fred E. (Butch) Au-France of Kaycee and Donald J. Au-France of Douglas; sisters Joan Gran, France Wonderly and June Geesey of Ohio;and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband on April 18, 1983; three sisters; ad four brothers.
A memorial to the Douglas Senior Citizens' Center, 340 First Street West, would be appreciated by the family.
