Douglas Budget - November 7, 1968Funeral service were held Saturday afternoon at the Community Baptist Church for Mrs. Cora Lee Anderson, pioneer resident of this community for more than 60 years. She passed away the 28th at a nursing home in Salt Lake City, Utah where se had been a patient for several months. Glenella Lodge No. 41 of Rebekahs, under the direction of Mrs. R. D. Moffett, noble grand, conducted a memorial service at the church and OES rites were held at the graveside in the Glenrock cemetery by Golden West Chapter No. 37 with Worthy Matron Lillian Fenwick in charge. Mr. and Mrs. Henry Anderson had gone to Utah to be with his mother on her 85th birthday anniversary Oct. 27, and enjoyed a visit with her. She later suffered a complete stroke, causing her death the next morning. Her husband, Stuart, preceded her in death in May of this year just before his 101st birthday anniversary June 23. In addition to her son, Henry of Casper, she is survived by two other sons and a daughter, James of Casper, William and Mrs. Oscar (Alice) Sorenson of Salt Lake City, all natives of Glenrock, six grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. The four children and their families came for the services.
