Mrs. A. C. Ayres, well known and long-time resident of Converse county passed away at the County Memorial hospital late Saturday morning. Funeral services were held at the Congregational church at 2:00 o'clock p.m. Tuesday, Rev. Louis gale officiating.

Edna May Howard was born Douglas, Wyo., on March 31, 188?(sic). On April 14, 1909 she was united in marrigae to Andrew Clement Ayres, since which time she had made her home on the Ayres ranch west of Douglas in the LaPrele community.

She held the love and esteem of all who knew her. She took a keen and active interest in the affairs of her community and was an officer in the LaPrele Homemakers club.

She is survived by her husband, two children, Mrs. Ida may Carmin of Douglas and Alva William Ayres of Casper; three grandchildren, Andrea, Joe and James Carmin; one sister, Myrtle Harland and one brother, Percy Howard of Douglas.
