Frank Batton, 66, of Glenrock, and rancher in that area since 1918, died at his home Sunday.

Funeral services will be held from the Stark Funeral chapel in Douglas this Thursday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock.

Born in Tom Green County, in Texas, on Feb. 23, 1893, he came to Wyoming in 1918 and settled up a ranch near Glenrock. He was also an undersheriff of Converse County, serving under Bill Silver, an early day long-time sheriff.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Frank, Jr.; and two daughters, Mrs. Elva Wilson of Los Angeles, Calif., and Mrs. Mona Dunham of Buffalo, Wyo. There are also two brothers and three sisters.
