Unknown - December 15, 1960Funeral services for John "Jack" Bennett will be held Saturday, Dec. 17 at the Stark Funeral Home at 2:30 p.m., with Rev. Clyde Thompson officiating. Burial will be in Douglas Park cemetery.
Mr. Bennett died Dec. 14 at a Casper hospital following a long illness. He was 68 years of age.
born at Wadena, Indiana on August 11, 1892, Mr. Bennett had made his home in Douglas for 41 years, and was retired from the Service Pipeline Company.
Survivors include his wife, Nellie; two sons, Morral, and Morral Arthur; four daughters, Mrs. Dorothy Zion of Glendive, Mont; Mrs. Peggy Clark, Houston, Tex.; Mrs. Charlotte Gunderman, Midwest; and Mrs. Delores Bain, Kimball, Neb.;a brother, Clarence Bennett of Wheatland, and a sister, Mrs. Odie Graves, Casper. Nine grandchildren also survive.
