Unknown - March 22, 1956Funeral services were held last Saturday for Clarence A. Bishop, who died Mar. 12 in California. rev. H.H. Lindeman officiated and burial was in the family plot in Douglas Park cemetery.
Mr. Bishop was born July 8, 1890, on the old homestead ranch on LaPrele creek, now known as the Boot ranch, the son of Spence A. and Edith L. Bishop.
He grew to manhood on the ranch, and in 1908 joined the navy where he served four years. In 1913 he was united in marriage with Blanche Burt. In 1934, they moved to Montana and later to Kellog, Ida., where he owned and operated a general store. In 1953 they moved to California for his health.
Surviving are five brothers, L.C. of Cheyenne, Oren C. of Syracruse, N.Y., Arthur A. and Spencer A. of Bremerton, Wash., and Cecil L. of Riverton; four sisters, Maude Ebbert of Oakland, Cal., Edith L. Covington of Sacramento, Cal., Edna Wolfe of Casper, and Mabel Rockwell of Florence, Colo.
