Unknown - November 19, 1959Funeral services for Howard Lee Bloem, 54, will be held Saturday, November 21, at 2:30 p.m. at the Methodist Church with the Rev. John Cox officiating. Burial will be in Douglas Park Cemetery.
Howard Lee Bloem passed away late Tuesday, November 17, at the Converse County Memorial Hospital following an illness of several months. He was a resident of Douglas for the past 28 years, and had been been(sic)employed by LeBar Motors as a salesman.
He was born in Pauline, Nebraska October 21, 1905, the son of Henry and May Bloem.
Besides his wife, Maude, he is survived by a son, Harold; two daughters, Mrs. Delores Olson of Spokane, Washington and Mrs. Donna Anderson of Wheatland; four brothers, John H. and Melvin, both of Douglas; Arnold of Casper, and Herman of Lewiston, Idaho; two sisters, Ruth Krasso and Marjorie Clark, both of Lewiston, Idaho, and four grandchildren.
Pallbearers are C.A. Thomas, Earl Heflin, Ward Heflin, Marcus Graves, Dale Mecham and Leonard Henry.
