Injuries From Auto Accident Fatal to Former County Rancher
Unknown - June 19, 1947Funeral services were held at the Hofmann chapel Saturday afternoon for Charles W. Brock, 73, who died last Monday in a Salt Lake City hospital of injuries received in an auto accident. Rev. Louis Gale of the Congregational church was in charge. Burial was in Douglas Park Cemetery.
Charles W. Brock was born at Fairbury, Neb., July 4, 1874. In 1907 he married Anna L. Berger, who preceded him in death, passing away in 1932. To this union four children were born, all of whom survive; Robert D. Brock, Charles M. Brock, both of Douglas, and Thomas A. Brock and Clara Margaret Walters, both of Los Angeles. He is also survived by one sister, Clara B. Gage, of Chicago, Ill.
Mr. Brock came to Wyoming in 1916 and engaged in ranching in this vicinity for many years.
He was a member of the Odd Fellow lodge at Cheyenne.
