Funeral services were held Wednesday morning at St. James Catholic church for Lee C. Brohman, 69, who died Monday at the Sam Amspoker home after an illness of several months. Burial was in Douglas Park cemetery with full military honors.

A rosary service was held Tuesday evening at Stark's chapel.

Mr. Brohman was born February 24, 1889, at Clarks, Nebr. He came to Douglas more than 40 years ago to play with the famous Douglas baseball team, later filing on a homestead. Mr. Brohman later learned the meat cutting trade which occupation he followed until his retirement several years ago.

He was a veteran of World War I.

Lee, as he was known to all, always had a smile for everyone and was always fond of children.

Pallbearers were Joe Sullivan, Otto Bolln, Bob Blotz, Clare Albaugh, Tom Cook and Don Brow.
