George Brow Laid to Rest Here
Unknown - UnknownFuneral services were held at Christ Episcopal church Tuesday afternoon for George Brow, 42, who died Saturday at Memorial hospital from lukemia (sic). The services were conducted by Vicar Henry Shute, and burial was in Douglas Park cemetery.
He had been ill for several months.
Mr. Brow was born at Douglas, son of George and Chloe Brow. He attended the Douglas school and continued to reside here until his marriage to Miss Ruby Skelton on Oct. 9, 1933.
For the past few years, Mr. Brow had been employed by the Service Pipeline Co. and was station engineer at their Lost Cabin plant when ill heath forced him to retire.
He was a member of the Episcopal church and Masonic lodge.
Survivors include his wife, three sons, George Jr., a student at the University of Wyoming, Lawrence and James of the family home; a daughter, Fern, also of the family home, and his mother, Mrs. Chloe Brow of this city.
The George Brow Memorial Fund has been founded in his memory by a group of friends at Powell.
